I have taken a long hiatus from my blog to concentrate on my certification for Biblical counseling. I am happy to say that I am almost…
God doesn’t expect us to just forget our pain. But He doesn’t want us to focus on it so much that we lost sight of Him.
I want to glorify God with my life, and His Word says we glorify Him by being thankful. “I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving,” (Psalm 69:30).
I don’t have to live in regret. And neither do you. If you start to feel preoccupied with thoughts of the past…look back in a different way.
When we wonder why God isn’t doing anything about our suffering or about the evil in the world, we can rest in the certainty that He already has.
We can, by an act of our will, bring even our thoughts into obedience to Christ by focusing on right thoughts. Right thoughts are the truths found in Scripture.
